Abstract:


We must guidance the vehicles, rockets and so on … in sea, land, air and space. For it we should navigate the vehicles. There are different Navigation methods. In all methods the best method is inertial navigation. It Perform by inertial navigation system (INS). For good guidance we must have high accuracy inertial navigation system. SDP designed on theses principles.

1. Foreword:


SDP design by M.R Meysam Nasiri Khalili. In this project we want to build an inertial navigation system. In this project we try to product high accuracy INS. SDP contain the beast property respect to other similar devices, such as quality, accuracy, price, less sensor and so on.


 


2. Introduction:


All inertial navigation systems use:


• Gyroscopes to measure vehicle rotation in inertial space.


• Accelerometers to measure inertial specific force.


• This package is often called the inertial measurement unit (IMU) or inertial


   Reference unit (IRU).


• Computer for processing the data.


• Soft ware for application.


IMU in this project contain one sensor opposite of other devises that they have many sensors in IRU.


SDP project try to build an instrument that basically can calculate the position and rotation without error in every place. Similar project are INS (inertial navigation system) and GPS (global positioning system).


SDP can predict the earthquakes. It can help engineers to build the house and so on. By adding a length meter we can see environment with grid. It means we have hologram of environment that we see.


Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) may be an old technology. The efficient Recently, LIDAR has found a new use: the efficient capture of digital terrain models (DTMs) for large-scale, high-accuracy mapping. The technology is moving quickly toward offering more efficient DTM collection techniques for applications such as digital orthophotography production and contour mapping.


A LIDAR collection system uses a powerful laser sensor comprised of a transmitter and receiver, a geodetic-quality Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver and an Inertial Navigation System (INS) unit. The laser sensor is precision mounted to the underside of an aircraft. Once airborne, the sensor emits rapid pulses of infrared laser light, which are used to determine ranges to points on the terrain below.
